I am back with review and it's going to be about this "DEEP CLEAN FACIAL CLEANSER" from Neutrogena⚡

Who doesn't like good clear skin!we all do right!

I am alot into skincare and I'm always in search of good skin care products.

About this face wash:

 This is an improved formula from the Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser where the new formula has removed the harsh surfactant "Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate" by replacing it with Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). SLES isn't a demon surfactant to be avoided when choosing a cleanser due to its gentleness as compared to harsher surfactant like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). 

This cleanser also uses coconut derived surfactants to gently cleanse away dirts, oils, sunscreen and even minimal makeup application. 

This is indeed a decent second cleanse after using an oil cleanser or micellar water. 

Neutrogena Deep Clean cleans so deeply and thoroughly that it improves the look and feel of skin. 

Skin is left clean with no pore clogging residue.

 Your complexion looks fresh and healthy; feels smooth and soft from deeper, more thorough cleansing. 

This effective face wash contains a hydroxy acid which penetrates deep into pores, dissolving dirt, oil and makeup. It also removes dead surface skin cells that can dry, roughen and dull your complexion. Softer, fresher skin will emerge.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser also includes 0.5% salicylic acid to gently penetrate into the pore lining and exfoliate by removing dead skin cells. 

By that means, this cleanser shouldn't be washed away immediately but instead just leave it on for about 30 seconds in order for the salicylic acid to work deeper into the pores..

Is neutrogena deep clean facial cleanser good for acne?

      ✓ This dermatologist-tested Deep Clean Cleanser gently removes dead cells that make the texture of your skin uneven to reveal fresh and smoother skin.

   ✓ This Neutrogena Facial Cleanser is also handy in removing makeup. 

    ✓ Ideal for normal and oily skin, the Facial Cleanser is mild and can be used on all skin types.

  ✓the Salicylic acid in this face wash belongs to a class of drugs known as salicylates. When applied to the skin, salicylic acid may work by helping the skin to shed dead cells from the top layer and by decreasing redness and swelling (inflammation). This decreases the number of pimples that form and speeds healing.

Directions:- 

✓Wet face and squeeze cleanser into your hands

✓Apply to face and massage gently, avoiding contact with the delicate eye area. Rinse thoroughly.

 ✓Texture wise, this is a gel-like texture that lather up into foam. 

👎The downside of this cleanser is that it contains fragrance and this will definitely not be your holy grail cleanser if your skin is reactive to fragrance. 

👎Some people may also experience dryness after using this cleanser.

 ✓To cope with that, apply your following skincare immediately after you came out from the shower while the skin is still wet and hydrated. 

My opinion:

It comes in a small bottle which will approximately last for about 20-25 days.

The reason I purchased this was that it had salicylic acid. But we don't know how much % it has to perform potentially. It has water-gel consistency.

It doesn't foam up very much but still does the job quite well

It says it's non-comedogenic, but still, it's according to your skin, how it takes.

It's alcohol-free - which is a good thing as some alcohols like denatured alcohol, ethanol can dry out your skin but still, there are good alcohols like cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol.

And this one is also oil-free . The texture is smooth, no grainy beads or anything.

  ✓Overall I would recommend for people with oily, combination and even acne prone skin to give this a try. 

✓This cleanser is easily accessible as it's a drugstore product anyway..
